This excursion invites you to a morning discovery of the Aix-en-Provence market, its medieval streets, its elegant architecture, and the aristocratic district of Mazarin, which houses magnificent mansions dating from the 17th to the 19th century.
You will then be driven for about 30 minutes along the tree‑lined roads so characteristic of Provence, heading towards Château La Coste, an exceptional wine estate renowned for its contemporary art exhibitions, bold architecture, and remarkable natural setting.
You will visit its art centre, delicately nestled in the heart of the vineyards.Within this emblematic estate of the Aix‑en‑Provence terroir, you will follow the paths that wind through the vines and discover an open‑air art trail, as well as temporary exhibitions inside the estate’s various spaces.
To choose
You may choose between a simple wine tasting in the boutique or a themed wine‑tasting workshop. Enjoy a self‑guided visit along the Art & Architecture Trail and the indoor exhibitions, or join a guided group tour of the Château La Coste Art Centre (approximately 2 hours – at 2:30 pm in English and 10:00 am in French, on request). Private guided tours are also available on request.Your day may be enhanced with a gastronomic or bistronomic lunch on site, among the six restaurants offering a variety of cuisines and price ranges.
This excursion is open to everyone: seniors, friends, couples, and families. Syrup will be offered to children during the tasting; however, the workshops and the visit of the cellar are not accessible to children.
